Why this exists

Why Black Friday ZW

Every November, Harare, Bulawayo, Gweru and Mutare fill with “Black Friday” banners. Some prices are sharp. Some are last week’s price with a red sticker. It is hard to tell which retailer has actually bought stock, and shoppers who wait for payday often find the useful deals gone.

Black Friday ZW flips the order. Instead of buying stock and hoping, we publish what people want, collect paid priority, and negotiate with that list. You are not asked to believe a countdown timer. You can see how many paid bookings exist, whether a supplier is even in negotiation, and whether a price is still a target.

The platform is built for how Zimbabwe actually pays: Paynow, WhatsApp updates, delivery in the main cities, and collection when a courier is the expensive option. USD prices are shown in dollars and cents, with booking credit tracked separately from the final balance.

Purchase credit

The fee comes off the price. It does not confirm stock.

Worked example for a $99 target, a $5 booking fee and a $4 Harare delivery estimate. These are not a supplier quote. Your booking uses the target and fee printed on that product, and the delivery fee locked for your city.

Target price$99.00
Booking fee, later applied as credit− $5.00
Goods still due$94.00
Delivery estimate+ $4.00
Still to pay if allocated$98.00

Priority is written only after Paynow verifies the booking fee. A larger or later payment does not jump the queue. If a supplier cannot fulfil, the refund rules on the booking policy apply.

Briefing

Ask a person about a list.

This opens a support ticket. It does not create a booking, it does not take a payment, and it does not reserve a place in the queue.

Booking fee per unit becomes purchase credit after Paynow verifies it. A quick look is not a booking and not confirmed stock.
