What a priority number actually protects

Published 7 October 2026

A priority number is the order in which Paynow-verified booking fees landed for that product. One product, one list. Colour, storage and shoe size are preferences stored on your booking. They do not let a later customer step in front.

Quantity

If you book three units, allocation still walks the list in priority order. You can receive all three, or fewer, depending on how many units the supplier actually committed. You cannot be skipped because someone behind you booked more.

What it does not do

It does not freeze a price that a supplier has not agreed. It does not survive as a public demand number if the payment never verifies. Demonstration and training records, if staff create any, are excluded from the counters you see on the product page.

Purchase credit

The fee comes off the price. It does not confirm stock.

Worked example for a $99 target, a $5 booking fee and a $4 Harare delivery estimate. These are not a supplier quote. Your booking uses the target and fee printed on that product, and the delivery fee locked for your city.

Target price$99.00
Booking fee, later applied as credit− $5.00
Goods still due$94.00
Delivery estimate+ $4.00
Still to pay if allocated$98.00

Priority is written only after Paynow verifies the booking fee. A larger or later payment does not jump the queue. If a supplier cannot fulfil, the refund rules on the booking policy apply.

Briefing

Ask a person about a list.

This opens a support ticket. It does not create a booking, it does not take a payment, and it does not reserve a place in the queue.

Booking fee per unit becomes purchase credit after Paynow verifies it. A quick look is not a booking and not confirmed stock.
