Paynow, EcoCash and booking credit

Published 7 October 2026

Paynow is how Zimbabweans already pay: EcoCash, InnBucks, cards and the other methods Paynow offers. Black Friday ZW does not add a second gateway and does not store your PIN.

What the fee is

You pay a small booking fee. After our server verifies that Paynow has taken it, the same amount sits on your booking as purchase credit. It reduces the goods total later. Delivery, if you want delivery, is added after that.

Example we use in the booking form: a $99 target, a $5 credit and a $4 delivery estimate leave $98 still to pay. Your booking uses your own fee, your own secured price and your own city fee. The example is arithmetic, not your invoice.

What the fee is not

It is not proof the item is on a shelf. Returning from Paynow to this website is also not proof. We poll Paynow. Until that check passes, your priority number does not exist.

Purchase credit

The fee comes off the price. It does not confirm stock.

Worked example for a $99 target, a $5 booking fee and a $4 Harare delivery estimate. These are not a supplier quote. Your booking uses the target and fee printed on that product, and the delivery fee locked for your city.

Target price$99.00
Booking fee, later applied as credit− $5.00
Goods still due$94.00
Delivery estimate+ $4.00
Still to pay if allocated$98.00

Priority is written only after Paynow verifies the booking fee. A larger or later payment does not jump the queue. If a supplier cannot fulfil, the refund rules on the booking policy apply.

Briefing

Ask a person about a list.

This opens a support ticket. It does not create a booking, it does not take a payment, and it does not reserve a place in the queue.

Booking fee per unit becomes purchase credit after Paynow verifies it. A quick look is not a booking and not confirmed stock.
